STORY

Anders was born in America, his mother, Jane, was American, and his father Australian. His parents met while his father was visiting relatives in the USA. He was raised in Texas, near Fort Stockton and was home schooled by his mother. He was taught how to ride and look after the landscape by his father who was a keen agriculturalist. Anders enjoyed his life style and was keen to continue the family property after his parents passed on.

This continued until he was 12. He lost his grandmother and Anders' mother Jane didn't take it too well. She began to become abusive towards Anders, neglecting school lessons, hitting him and forcing him to do things a child shouldn't do. His father couldn't stand the sight and difficultly gained a divorce and restraining order. Soon enough Anders was headed to Australia to begin a new life.

They moved to Canberra where Anders was put into school. It was a tough few years and as soon as year 10 came around he left school to pursue a career on the land. He got a job at the local stock yards, moving stock through and assisting with loading and unloading. He eventually moved onto better things when Earthenbrook-Stables hired him as both a groundskeeper and breaker.

He stayed with them until they opened up Eumeralla-Downs. He was happy to reside in the country, to be alone with his thoughts and help on the land when he could. Now he leads the droves and trains the young horses and cattle that come through.
