SalvationWhen I was little I heard all the stories, the apple, boat and whale. The birth and the resurrection. They filled my mind and I lived in awe of this power. I tried hard to be a good little girl, I listened and answered all the questions. I took part in all the plays and memorized all the lyrics. However all it was to me was a fun time and simply stories to be enjoyed.
And then I began to slip away, falling off the road. I found it hard to live the life I was instructed to lead. I fell off the narrow dirt road and let the flow take me down the wide highway. But then it hit me, if I didn't break from this flow I would fall over the edge, into the black abyss.
From that moment I began to fight back. I cried out to the people in those old stories, hoping, praying that someone would hear me. And then I felt a hand grasp me and I knew instantly that someone had heard me and cared for me enough to rescue me from that mess.
Though the flow wrestled to keep a hold on me the grip that was puling
