STORY

The small filly had been at Earthenbrook for a year now abd in that time she had come a long way with her ground training. Obviously she was too delicate for anyone to be carried but her but she was showing potential in showing in hand and liberty. Being a quiet filly she sent much of her time in the corner of her paddock or stall, grazing or observing the world however she seemed to enjoy life more when there were more people around. When Earthenbrook hosted their Australiana show she had been dancing in her paddock, putting on a show for her guests. It was then that Jessie decided that the Parisian filly had an internal flaming desire to perform.

And so the quests for shows began. Jessie looked long and hard to find the perfect show for Petit but to no avail. However one day while looking at photos from the Italian jumping circuit she noticed a link to a show sponsored by a mutual company. The show was to be held at Windhound Stud in Italy, on the other side of the world....

Jessie sat in long conversation with both Peggy and Matilda to convince them to go to some European shows, so that Jessie could tag along with Petit. Some how they agreed and thus they headed off to Europe with a few horses on board their aircraft, including Petit. Italy was their first stop and thus began Petits career. They soon settled into the stables and awaited the big day.

The day arrived and Jessie brought the exquisitely groom Petit to the arena. the little filly was skittish and she could tell something was up. Jessie did a little ground work and then their number was called. They approached the arena, the hall to it was dark but there was a cold light coming from the end of the tunnel. They emerged awestruck by the set up. pine trees, snow, and toy winter critters were scattered around, creating a wonderful spectacle.

Jessie gave the nod, unhooked Petits halter and the music began. The Filly new she was on show and stood proud but was startled by the music. She took off around the arena, head in the air, giving a few bucks on the way. Then something in the corner of the arena caught her eye. A small toy rabbit, its head up. She stopped and sniffed it, seeing if it would move. She nudged it but in the process startled herself again by knocking it over. Petit put on an amazing display with great amounts of class, style, and finesse.

Their turn was over and Jessie was over joyed with Petit's performance. Jessie went and caught the filly and headed out of the arena eager for the results.....
